Archita is from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She completed her Bachelors of Engineering in Biotechnology from New Horizon Collage of Engineering Bangalore, India. She did her Masters's in Technology in the field of Bioinformatics from SRM University, Chennai. Archita then worked as a junior research fellow in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and then as a senior research fellow at the International Center for Genetics Engineering and Biotechnology. Systems biology and bioinformatics are her key strengths. Archita sees GLIOTRAIN as a great opportunity to receive further training in different aspects of systems biology and computational biology. Archita is working at RCSI, Ireland on the project "Systems-based integration and analysis of a deeply phenotyped GBM cohort correlating to 'Extreme' and 'Poor' responding patients" under the supervision of Prof. Jochen Prehn. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, travelling and cooking.
