GLIOTRAIN Translational Research Symposium to take place on the 19th and 26th January 2021

A GLIOTRAIN-organised virtual translational research symposium will take place on the 19th and 26th January 2021. This PhD student training event replaces an in-person event that had been scheduled to take place in Paris in May 2020, but that was unfortunately a casualty of the Coronavirus pandemic. We are now pleased to invite participants to the event in a new, virtual format. To view the programme please click here

Speakers at the event are from a number of GLIOTRAIN Institutes and include Dr Ahmed Idbaih, Dr Franck Bielle and Dr Alexis Génin (ICM Paris), Dr Anna Golebiewska (Luxembourg Institute of Health), Prof Martine Lamfers (Erasmus MC), Prof Frederik De Smet (KU Leuven) and Dr Frederic Sottilini (CarThera). We are also pleased to welcome Ms Elaine Quinn from University College Dublin who will discuss public and patient involvement during translational cancer research.

Whilst the event is tailored to a PhD student audience, all those with an interest in translational cancer research are welcome to attend. To register your interest please enter your details here. If you have any queries regarding the event, please contact Dr Alice O'Farrell (aliceofarrell@rcsi.ie).
