Mohammed Ahmed

Mohammed trained as a clinical pharmacist and has always been interested in the development of novel therapeutic approaches for neurological disorders. He was trained in responsible conduct of research at the University of California San Diego followed by a research stay in the Max Delbruck Institute for Molecular Medicine, Berlin-Buch. Mohammed comments that being involved in GLIOTRAIN is a remarkable opportunity to combine his previous training along with the training he will receive within his PhD to test new drug candidates for GBM. Mohammed is working at the ICM Institute of Brain and Spinal Cord, France, on the project "Pre-clinical interrogation of checkpoint inhibitor immunotherapy in GBM implementing ultrasound (US)-induced opening of the BBB" under the supervision of Dr Ahmed Idbaih and Dr Maite Verreault.
